Lu Mil Wine Run 5k
The Lu Mil Wine Run 5k is a chip-timed 5k held at Lu Mil Vineyard in Elizabethtown, North Carolina. The course follows an all dirt terrain road path with rolling hills and inclines, several turns, and a route that runs around the winery and the vines. Results are timed and scored by J3 Timing and posted online at J3Timing.com.
Registration for the event includes a ring-spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Free race photos are available for download at event photo galleries. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event.
The event offers age group awards with ten-year categories covering youth through 80 and over; the top finishers in each age category receive custom awards. To be eligible for age-group awards, competitive runners must start with the first wave. Age group awards are available for pickup on race day and will not be shipped after the event.
Virtual participation is available; virtual registrants may pick up a packet on race day or request packet shipment for an additional shipping and handling fee. Proceeds from this race benefit the 2026 Dublin Peanut Festival. Dogs are not allowed and strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground.
