Cape Canaveral Reindeer Run 5K
The Cape Canaveral Reindeer Run 5K is a seasonal running event held on December 12, 2026 at Cherie Down Park in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The event distance is 5K (3.1 miles) and takes place at the park located at 8330 Ridgewood Avenue, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920.
The event follows a cupless policy: pre-filled cups will not be provided at water stations. Participants are asked to bring a personal drinking vessel such as a collapsible cup, hydration vest, refillable bottle, or other festive container.
The first 500 registrants receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, top masters male and female, and the top coed team composed of four finishers.
Packet pick-up and on-site registration occur the day before the race at the Cape Canaveral Community Center, 7920 Orange Avenue, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920.
Registration opens July 1, 2026. The published registration fee schedule is: July 1 - Aug 30: $25; Sept 1 - Oct 30: $30; Nov 1 - Nov 30: $40; Dec 1 - Dec 11: $45. Registration closes Dec 11, 2026 or when race capacity is reached. There is no day-of registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
