Cape Canaveral Reindeer Run
The event is an annual holiday-themed 5K at Cherie Down Park in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The course distance is 5K (3.1 miles). The event includes awards for top overall finishers, masters, and the top co-ed team of four finishers.
Organizers operate the race as a cupless event to reduce waste. Pre-filled cups will not be provided at water stations. Participants are asked to bring a collapsible cup, hydration vest, refillable water bottle, cocoa chalice, mistletoe mug, or a similar drinking vessel.
Registration opens July 1 and uses tiered fees: July 1 to Aug 30 is $25, Sept 1 to Oct 30 is $30, Nov 1 to Nov 30 is $40, and Dec 1 to Dec 11 is $45. Registration closes on Dec 11, 2026, or when race capacity is reached. There is no day of registration.
Packet pick-up and on-site registration occur the day before the race at the Cape Canaveral Community Center. The first 500 registrants will receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
