Cape Canaveral Reindeer Run 5K
The Reindeer Run is an annual 5K held at Cherie Down Park in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on December 12, 2026. The course distance is 5K (3.1 miles). Packet pickup and race-day registration are scheduled the day before at the Cape Canaveral Community Center, located at 7920 Orange Avenue.
The event is cupless to reduce single use waste; pre-filled cups will not be provided at water stations. Participants are asked to bring a collapsible cup, hydration vest, refillable water bottle, or other personal drinking vessel.
Registration follows tiered pricing: $25 for July 1 to August 30, $30 for September 1 to October 30, $40 for November 1 to November 30, and $45 for December 1 to December 11. Registration closes December 11, 2026, or when race capacity is reached. There is no day of event registration.
The first 450 registrants receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, top masters male and female, and the top co-ed team of four finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
