Can't Sit Still Run / Walk
Can't Sit Still Run / Walk is organized by the PA Tourette Syndrome Alliance Inc., which provides information, education, support and disability advocacy for people with Tourette syndrome and their family members. The event takes place on the Panhandle Trail in Collier Township near the Walkers Mill Road entrance, with extra parking available at the Collier Municipal Lot. The event features the following distances:
- 5 km run/walk. Registration fee $30.
- 1 mile fun run/walk. Untimed. Registration fee $20.
Race registration opens January 7, 2026 and closes May 16, 2026. The last day to order a shirt in a chosen size is April 30. Awards for the 5K include 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall for both male and female. First place finisher awards in male and female are planned for these age groups: Under 14, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
A newly added attraction for the event is an opportunity to meet and take a picture with a Highland cow. The 1 mile event is noted as an untimed fun run/walk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
