Sewickley Classic 5K & Festival
The Sewickley Classic is a community running event held in Sewickley in May. The event centers on a road race through the village and concludes with a community festival at War Memorial Park where food, music, and activities are offered by local participants and businesses.
The event program includes several running and walking options:
- 5K Run/Walk 3.1 Miles
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk 1 Mile
- Kids Dash 50 Yards, multiple races grouped by age
Registration fees are set per event: the 5K has a registration fee of $35.00, the 1 Mile fee is $25.00, and the Kids Dash fee is $10.00. Registration opens 1/19/2027; registration for most events closes 5/7/2027, while Kids Dash registration remains open until the day of the event on 5/15/2027.
Proceeds from the event benefit Laughlin Children’s Center, supporting programs that serve children and families in the region.
