Event Overview

The Miles 2 Meals 100 Mile Relay is a running event with a unique relay format. It is held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the North Allegheny Intermediate High School track. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026.

Event Format

The race consists of two relay teams, each with 100 members. Each participant runs a 1-mile segment (four laps on the track). The event has roots dating back to the 1970s. Registration is individual; runners submit a prospective mile time and their preferred time of day to run. Participants can form or join smaller teams of up to five people to run their miles consecutively within the larger 100-person team.

Registration Process

Registration closes once 200 runners have signed up, forming two primary teams of 100. A waiting list exists for additional registrants. After registration closes, participants receive an email with their approximate start time. Participants should arrive at the track in advance of their scheduled time for the baton handoff.

Activities and Information

During the event, various activities and foods will be available. Results will be live-streamed. Bib and shirt pickup occurs at the track upon arrival. Awards information will be communicated closer to the event date.
