About the race
Canon Sheehan Loop, Glenanaar Forest, County Cork, is a 16-kilometre trail race with about 550 metres of ascent. The route is fully marked and GPS-enabled, offering a clearly flagged course through forest trails. It features moderate terrain and is part of the Coillte Summer/Autumn Trail League and the Munster league.
Runners must carry a Level B safety kit (waterproof jacket, gloves, hat or buff, whistle, a charged mobile with emergency number, and a foil blanket or bivvy), with checks on race day.
