Cannonball Crush
Cannonball Crush is a 5 km obstacle course race held on the historic grounds of Fort Henry in Kingston. The course features more than 20 modern and historically themed obstacles that require climbing, crawling, jumping, and sliding.
The event is open to anyone aged 13 and older. Participants may compete solo or as part of a team. Teams must include at least four runners and team awards are based on the average time of the top four team members. There are three heat categories by age: Teen Heats 13-17, Adult Heats 18+, and Open Heats 13+.
Registration is online only; day of registration is not available. The event is rain or shine and registration fees are non refundable. Transfer of registration to another individual is allowed before May 29, 2026. Race kits may be picked up on race day or collected after the event under the posted procedures.
On site amenities include water stations along the route, a refill station at the start, and complimentary water and granola bars at the finish. Running shoes are required and costumes are encouraged. Participants should expect to get wet and muddy. Free parking is available in the main lot and accessible parking is provided. Restrooms are located near the Start Line at the Great Hall and near the Finish Line at the Advanced Battery. Leashed dogs are allowed outside the fort interior and service dogs are permitted throughout the site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
