Cannon Ballers Shooting Star 5K
The Cannon Ballers Shooting Star 5K is part of the 2026 Run Kannapolis Race Series and takes place at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis, North Carolina. The run begins outside the Cannon Ballers home ballpark and concludes with a lap around the bases, with the finish on home plate.

Registration for the event includes a limited-edition performance t-shirt while supplies last and a game ticket to the Cannon Ballers Starry Night game on August 15. All proceeds from the Shooting Star 5K benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation; the event fundraising page shows $45.31 raised for that organization.
The Shooting Star 5K is one of eight races in the Run Kannapolis Race Series. A series registration discount is offered for participants who register for all eight races by March 28. Group discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
