Cannon Ballers Shooting Star 5K
The Cannon Ballers Shooting Star 5K is part of the 2026 Run Kannapolis Race Series and takes place at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis, North Carolina. The run begins outside the ballpark and finishes with a lap around the bases that ends on home plate.
Registration includes a limited-edition performance t-shirt while supplies last and a game ticket to the Cannon Ballers Starry Night game. All proceeds from the Shooting Star 5K benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
The event features both a 5K race and a youth fun run. The youth fun run is for ages 14 and under.

This race is one of eight events in the Run Kannapolis series; registering for all eight races by March 28th carries a 25 percent discount on the total registration price. Group discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Registration policies state there are no refunds, race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
