Cannon Ballers Shooting Star 5K
The Cannon Ballers Shooting Star 5K is part of the 2026 Run Kannapolis Race Series and takes place at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis, North Carolina on August 15, 2026. The course begins outside the Cannon Ballers home ballpark and finishes with a lap around the bases, ending on home plate.

Registration for the event includes a limited edition performance t shirt while supplies last and a game ticket to the Cannon Ballers Starry Night game on August 15. All proceeds from the Shooting Star 5K benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The event is one of eight races in the Run Kannapolis series; registering for all eight races by March 28 yields a 25 percent discount on total registration.
Group discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Registration policies state that race fees are non refundable, race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and fees are not refundable in the event of Acts of God.
