Cannon Ballers Shooting Star 5K
The Cannon Ballers Shooting Star 5K is part of the 2026 Run Kannapolis Race Series and takes place at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis, NC on August 15, 2026. The 5K begins outside the ballpark and concludes with a lap around the bases, with the finish line on Home Plate.
Registration includes a limited edition performance t-shirt while supplies last and a game ticket to the Cannon Ballers Starry Night game. All proceeds from the Shooting Star 5K benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation; the event has reported fundraising activity and a modest amount raised to date.
The race is one of eight events in the Run Kannapolis series. A 25% discount is offered when registering for all eight races by March 28. Group discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
Registration policies state that there are no refunds, race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God. Run Kannapolis is part of the City of Kannapolis Discover a Healthy Life brand and is cosponsored by Atrium Health.
