Cancer Warriors 5k : Baltimore, MD
The event is the 11th annual Cancer Warriors Inc. 5K road and trail run held in Baltimore, Maryland on September 26, 2026. The organizer is Cancer Warriors Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and proceeds are directed to cancer research institutions. Entry fees are listed for the event and prices increase on September 5. A donation-only registration option is available.
The in-person course is a simple out-and-back that starts at the Ma & Pa Trail head in Belair near Independent Brewery. Runners head south on the trail, pass a second stream crossing, take the right fork, cross under Route 24, reach a turnaround near the Tollgate Road underpass, and return to the start. A course map and elevation profile are provided for the route.
A virtual option is offered. Virtual participants may run or walk a 5K anytime between September 1 and September 20 on a self-chosen course and submit their time to the race director through the event registration system. Virtual registrants may also opt in for a t-shirt. The event currently uses a classic stopwatch timing method and may offer a t-shirt add-on; shirts and signs may not be guaranteed after the price increase date.
