Cancer Warriors 5k
The Cancer Warriors 5k is scheduled for September 26, 2026 in Baltimore, MD. This is the 11th annual event organized by Cancer Warriors Inc., a certified 501c3 nonprofit. Net proceeds support cancer research institutions.
The in-person course is a simple out-and-back on the Ma & Pa Trail Head in Belair, located near Independent Brewery. Runners head south on the trail, pass a second stream crossing, stay right at a fork, cross under Route 24, reach a turnaround near the Tollgate Road underpass, and return to the start. A course map and elevation profile are available.
Options include an in-person 5K, a virtual "ghost runner" entry, and a "Donation Only" registration. Virtual participants may complete a 5K anywhere between September 1 and September 20 and submit their time through the UltraSignup website. Virtual runners can also opt to receive a shirt.
Timing for the in-person event will use a classic stopwatch method. Registration prices increase on September 5, and shirts and signs may not be guaranteed after that date. Registration closes on September 25. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
