Canalathon Ultra

Canalathon-Ultra Running Festival is staged along the Rochdale Canal with HQ at Sowerby Bridge Cricket Club in West Yorkshire. Distances on offer are 100km, 50km, half marathon and 10km. The 100km is an out-and-back along canal towpaths with minimal elevation; the 50km runs from Ancoats to Sowerby Bridge; the half marathon starts near The Summit, Todmorden and finishes in Sowerby Bridge; the 10km also runs to and from Sowerby Bridge.

The course is flat, on hard, dry surfaces, with marshalled, signed routes and multiple aid stations.
