The event takes place on July 1, 2026 in Regina, Saskatchewan. It offers both in-person and virtual participation. In-person registrations include access to the virtual races; virtual registrations include access to the virtual races only.

The start and finish are located between Wascana Lake and the Queen Elizabeth II Flower Gardens on Walter Scott Way. The 5K route follows Wascana Lake clockwise. The 3K route is an out-and-back to Pine Island. All courses are subject to change prior to race day.
Registration fees include a locally designed Run Regina swag item, a locally designed Canada Day finishers medal, chip timing for the in-person event, a custom race bib, free professional high-definition race photos available for download, an online results leaderboard, and digital finisher medal and certificate. All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Race package pickup is scheduled the day before and the morning of the event at the start/finish location between Wascana Lake and the Queen Elizabeth II Flower Gardens. The event is described to run rain or shine within reasonable weather expectations; if in-person races are canceled for safety reasons, registered participants will be transferred to an equivalent virtual distance.
