Bidwells Cambridge 10K 2026
Bidwells Cambridge 10k takes place on Sunday 4 October 2026 at Midsummer Common, Victoria Avenue, Cambridge CB5 8DJ. The event uses closed roads through the city centre and the route runs along the River Cam past historic university college buildings and other landmarks.
The race is licensed by Run Britain and uses chip-timing; results are published after the event. An Event Village on Midsummer Common provides baggage storage, toilets and vendor stalls, and the route is marshalled with clear signage throughout.
Distances
- 10 km: closed road route through Cambridge city centre and along the River Cam.
- 3 km: a junior route for 9 to 15 year olds through Midsummer Common and the city centre.
Entry information notes a range of 2026 fees, including a standard entry fee of £35, an early-bird rate of £32.50 and a late entry fee of £37; a super early-bird option is marked sold out. Race packs may be posted to earlier registrants and are available for collection from the Event Village for later entrants. Chip times determine race prizes.
Participation rules and accessibility include a minimum age of 16 for the 10 km and 9 to 15 for the 3 km. Running buggies are allowed with a recommendation to start toward the back and to one side. A Hippocampe Marathon Running Chair is available to assist participants. The organiser enforces a zero tolerance policy on abuse and harassment.
