Cambridge Montessori School Webster O'Brien 5K
The Cambridge Montessori School Webster O'Brien 5K takes place at Danehy Park in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with the event base at 99 Sherman Street. The course is a loop inside the park that is run three times before a final sprint to the finish. The event offers a 5K distance with registration categories for adults and for participants under 18.
Each participant receives a high-quality synthetic running shirt available in children and adult sizes while supplies last. Registrations on the day of the event are not guaranteed a shirt. Race bibs can be picked up the day of the event from 9:00 to 9:45 at the pick-up table in Danehy Park.
Danehy Park is located between Porter Square, Harvard Square, and Fresh Pond and has several nearby parking lots. Parking options on Sherman Street include a lot across from 96 Sherman Street and a lot by the St. Peter's baseball field. There is an additional lot on Garden Street next to the Toddler Primary building at 161 Garden Street, which is about a five minute walk to the 5K area.
A travel stipend will be given to a Cambridge Montessori School alum who has graduated from the middle school program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
