Callaway Gardens Olympic Triathlon and Duathlon
The event takes place at Callaway Gardens, Robin Lake Beach in Pine Mountain, Georgia on August 22, 2026. It offers both an Olympic distance triathlon and a duathlon, with individual and relay entries.
The swim is a 1000 m horseshoe shaped course in Robin Lake. The swim is deep water for the full distance with much of the first half within about 20 yards of shoreline. Lifeguards and watercraft will monitor the swim and athletes are required to follow their directions.
The bike is an 18 mile two loop course inside Callaway Gardens using Scenic Drive, Discovery Parkway, and Mountain Creek Drive. The course is open to the public with signage and volunteers at critical intersections. Technical support will be available on course for emergency repairs but athletes should be self sufficient for basic repairs.
The run is 5 miles and includes Robin Lake Circle and the paved bike trail. Aid stations are located on the run and offer water, electrolyte options, some gels, and other nutrition.
Additional event details: packet pick up and transition area are adjacent to Robin Lake Beach Circus Tent; the event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and requires membership or a one day membership and a signed waiver; awards include top three overall male and female and top three in each age group with medals, shirts, and swim caps for triathletes.
