Caliente Off Road 5K
Caliente Off Road 5K is scheduled for July 25, 2026 at Long Branch Park, 1101 Branch Drive, Killeen, TX 76541, United States. The event is part of the Centex Race Series and features a new cross country style off road course routed through Long Branch Park. The distance is a chip timed 5K.
Registration opens May 7, 2026 and closes July 4, 2026. The registration fee is $25. Race-day registration is available at the race site from 7:00 to 7:45 am; race-day entrants must register on a phone and pay by credit card only. Packet pick-up is available July 24 and July 25 from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Family Recreation Center, 1700 E. Stan Schlueter Loop, Killeen.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group; duplicate awards are not permitted. Age groups include 11 and under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 35-39 and continue up to 70 plus. An awards ceremony will be held at the conclusion of the race. All runners will receive points toward the series.
T shirts are distributed to early registrants; the first 120 registrants are guaranteed a t shirt and a race bag. Limited additional shirts may be available on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
