The Caliente Bare Dare is a clothing-optional 5K held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Caliente Resort in Land O Lakes, Florida (21240 Gran Via Boulevard, 34637). The event is open to participants aged 21 to 85. Entry price is listed as $57.50, and registration opens January 4, 2026. The race has been held annually since 2010.
Course and facilities
The race uses a scenic one-loop course that wraps around the resort grounds, running along trails and lakes and finishing at the foot of the Caliente clubhouse. Shoes are required and sunscreen is recommended. Caliente Resort features a 30,000-square-foot clubhouse with four bars, a nightclub, and a fitness center, plus a large lagoon-style pool with waterfall and three other pools. A post-race celebration takes place poolside.
Entry, awards and results
Race entries include all-day access to the resort. Participants receive wristbands as proof of paid entry and access. Organizers present custom awards for the top 20 male and top 20 female finishers and may provide custom T-shirts or towels; the event does not give medals. Official race results and participant lists are not posted online. A large race clock is available at the finish for runners to note their own times.
