Caliente Bare Dare 5K
The Caliente Bare Dare 5K is the 18th annual clothing-optional 5K held at Caliente Resort in Land O' Lakes, Florida. The route is a scenic one-loop course that runs on resort grounds and nearby trails, passing lakes and finishing at the foot of the Caliente clubhouse.
Entry includes all-day access to the resort. Participants receive wristbands for race identification and resort access rather than traditional bib numbers. Shoes are required and sunscreen is recommended. The organizer does not post race results or participant lists online; a large race clock at the finish line lets runners note their own times.
Custom awards are given to the top 20 female and top 20 male finishers; medals are not awarded. Awards may include custom T-shirts or towels. Locker rooms are available and co-ed; participants must provide their own lock for lockers.
Caliente Resort is located in Pasco County north of Tampa and features a 30,000-square-foot clubhouse with four bars, a nightclub, and a fitness center. The resort’s centerpiece is a large lagoon-style pool with a waterfall and three other pools.
