Charity and community
The Servus Charity Challenge is integrated into race registration. In 2024 the Charity Challenge surpassed a cumulative $10 million raised since its start in 2012. The event materials also include resources for runners, such as rules, training programs, adaptive athlete information, and pace team guidance.
Place and acknowledgement
The event takes place in Calgary, known by the Blackfoot name Mohkínstsis. The organisers acknowledge that this land is on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 region, including the Blackfoot Confederacy, the Stoney Nakoda, the Tsuut’ina First Nations, and the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
