Event overview
The Servus Calgary Marathon is a multi-distance road running event held in Calgary, Alberta. It has been held for 62 years and is described as Canada’s longest running marathon. Race Weekend for 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, 2026. The event is part of the Run Calgary group and includes pre-race and race-day information, a runners’ expo, a spectator guide, and resources for participants.

The weekend includes several race options:

The event runs a Charity Challenge program that, as of 2024, has raised more than $10 million cumulatively since its start in 2012. The 2025 Charity Challenge is integrated into race registration. The event also highlights sustainability initiatives, including Green Bib and Green Athlete programs, and provides runner resources such as adaptive athlete information, pace team guidance, and training materials. The organizers include a land acknowledgement naming Mohkínstsis and the Treaty 7 region, and the communities of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Stoney Nakoda, Tsuut’ina First Nations, and Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
