Calabash Turkey Trot
Calabash Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026 near the Calabash waterfront. The event is the 12th annual Calabash Turkey Trot and also marks the organizer's 100th race. Participants may enter individual distances or the three race challenge.

The 10K and 5K courses are USATF certified and measured for accuracy. The 10K course includes two water stops and the 5K includes one water stop, with water and blue Gatorade provided roughly every two miles. Coned lanes on Beach Drive, volunteer marshals and signage are used for course support and safety.
All in-person and virtual finishers receive finisher medals; the 5K, 10K and the three race challenge include a tech quarter zip. One mile participants may purchase a T-shirt for a low cost. The three race challenge awards each race medal plus a bonus challenge medal after completing all three races in one morning. The organizer uses professional timing and posts results online.
Volunteer roles earn a race shirt and may trigger a monetary donation to a local group or a free race entry. Registration does not allow refunds.
