CadeSTRONG 5K Run and Roll

CadeSTRONG is a multi-event community run and roll at Nathan Dean Park in Rockmart, Georgia. Events use the Silver Comet Trail on out-and-back routes that start and finish at the park and include slight inclines along the river.

Distances include:

• 5K run or walk on the Silver Comet Trail.
• 1 Mile run or walk on the same out-and-back route.
• 1 Mile Wheelchair event on the same route.
• Tot Trot about 50 yards for ages 6 and under, parents may accompany.

Pre-registration fees are listed at thirty dollars for the 5K and 1 Mile events; race-day registration fees are higher. Shirts are provided for participants who pre-register by September 1; shirts cannot be guaranteed after that date. The Tot Trot is free and does not require registration.

On-site features at the park include inflatables, food trucks, games, music provided by J103, a mechanical bull ride, and a photo booth. Professional timing and results are provided by Wire2Wire Running. Free parking is available at Nathan Dean Park Sports Complex.

For safety, dogs are not permitted with runners on the 5K route; dogs on leashes are allowed for the 1 Mile run and walk. The event will be held rain or shine unless organizers and local authorities determine cancellation; if canceled, registered participants are transferred to the rescheduled date without refunds or credits.
