Event details

The Cactus to Cloud Sky Race takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, based out of Cloudcroft, New Mexico. It is the third event in the inaugural Sacramento Mountains Ultra Series. The event offers two point-to-point trail races and lists Oliver Lee State Park and Sunspot as start locations.

The courses run from desert lowlands up into high-elevation mountain terrain. Shuttles run from the start/finish pavilion to the race starts; shuttle selection is part of registration and is included with full-series registration.
