Byron Days 5K - SpartanNash YMCA
The SpartanNash YMCA Byron Days 5K is part of the Byron Days Festival and has been held since 2005. The event takes place in Byron Center, Michigan, at 2445 Sherwood St and is organized as both an in-person and a virtual 5K.

The in-person course begins on Byron Center Avenue just north of the Sherwood and Byron Center intersection, proceeds through the tree-lined Railside Community to Kent Trails, and returns to the finish area. A community parade follows the race as part of the Byron Days Festival.
Registration details are provided for each event. The in-person 5K lists a registration fee of $30, with registration opening January 2, 2026 and closing May 31, 2026. The virtual 5K lists a registration fee of $35, with registration opening February 9, 2026 and closing July 25, 2026. Registrations submitted after July 1 are not guaranteed a event t-shirt.
