BVP Community Health & Wellness 5K
Blackstone Valley Prep hosts a community health and wellness event at Slater Park, Pawtucket, RI (401 Newport Ave). The event includes a timed 5K race and a short Kids' Fun Run for scholars in Grade 4 and under. The Kids' Fun Run features warmups and a short run led by a BVP Physical Education instructor.
Registration opens January 25, 2026 and closes October 3, 2026. Day-of registration is available. T-shirts are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $25.00 for the 5K and $5.00 for the Kids' Fun Run. All proceeds benefit Blackstone Valley Prep Athletics.
Parking near the course is limited later in the morning to keep the route clear for the Kids' Fun Run; vehicles may need to use the lot closest to the park entrance. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted on the course. The 5K is open to the general public and is a timed event.
