Butterfly Run Whistler 2026
Butterfly Run Whistler is a memorial walk and run taking place on October 3, 2026 at Myrtle Philip School, 6195 Lorimer Road, Whistler, BC. The event is organized by Butterfly Support Network to support people who have experienced infertility, pregnancy loss, and infant loss. All proceeds fund programs for bereaved parents across British Columbia.
The course follows a loop on the Whistler Valley Trail that passes the Whistler Golf Course and returns to Myrtle Philip School. Signage is posted along the route and participants may choose to shorten their route or return part way through the loop.
Adult registration includes a participant race kit and t shirt by default, with an option to decline the kit. To guarantee a preferred adult shirt size registrations should be completed by September 1. Children under 12 are free but must be registered; child race kits and t shirts are not included and child shirts can be purchased for CA$15 at registration.
Race kit pickup is available before the event at Spring Creek and on event day at Myrtle Philip School. The event program includes light refreshments, community resource booths and activities for young children. Registrations are non refundable; if the event goes fully virtual refunds are not issued but race kits and shirts are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
