About the race
Butterfly Run Whistler 2025 is a memorial run/walk in Whistler, BC, starting at Myrtle Philip Community School (6195 Lorimer Road). The event offers a 5 km run and a 3 km run/walk, with routes along Lorimer Road, the Valley Trail, and the Whistler Golf Course before returning to the school. It is the inaugural edition organized by the Butterfly Support Network to honor families affected by infertility, pregnancy loss, and infant loss.
Proceeds go to the Butterfly Support Network and the BC Women’s Health Foundation. The day includes a pre-race program, on-course signage, post-run refreshments, and family-friendly activities, with subsidized entries for some families.
