Butterfly Run Vancouver 2026
Butterfly Run Vancouver is a memorial walk/run that supports people affected by infertility, pregnancy loss, and infant loss. The event aims to build community, raise awareness, and fundraise for local and provincial grief support programs.
The event takes place at Olympic Village Square in Vancouver, BC, on October 3, 2026. Distances offered:
- 5 km run/walk
- 3 km walk/run
All proceeds go to Butterfly Support Network to fund no-cost counselling, group support options, and peer support for families across British Columbia.
Paid adult registrations include a race kit and t-shirt, with an option to decline the kit. Children under 12 may register free of charge but must still be registered; free child registrations do not include a race kit or t-shirt. Children's t-shirts can be added during registration for an additional fee and preferred shirt sizes are guaranteed only until September 1. Race registrations are non-refundable; if the event becomes fully virtual, refunds will not be issued but race kits and shirts will still be provided.
A virtual participation option is available; virtual participants receive race kits which can be picked up during scheduled kit pickup times. Pre-event pick-up locations include Langley City Park and China Creek NORTH Park, and there is also on-site pickup at Olympic Village on event day.
