Butler's Best Buddies Eggstravaganza (5K, 1-Mile, and Easter Egg Hunt)
This event at Art Bernardi Stadium on the Butler Senior High School campus includes running events and a children's egg hunt organized by the Butler Senior High School Best Buddies chapter.
- 5K : Easter Egg Dash, a 3.1 mile loop around the Senior and Intermediate High School campus.
- 1 Mile : Bunny Hop, a single loop on the Senior High School campus for runners and walkers.
- Easter Egg Hunt : for children ages 10 and under, with five age-group hunts.
The 5K awards medals to the top three male and female finishers in each age bracket (14 and under; 15-19; 20-39; 40-59; 60 and over) and plaques for overall top male and female. Walkers may enter the 5K but must finish within a 60-minute timeframe. Start and finish for the races are located on the stadium track. No strollers are permitted on the stadium tracks at both the Intermediate and Senior High School.
Event services include electronic chip timing by Miles of Smiles, posted results, guaranteed race shirts for 5K and 1-Mile participants ages 11 and older who register before March 6, 2026, free refreshments for race participants, raffle and grand prizes in the egg hunt, additional race-bag prizes, and free photos with the Easter Bunny. Parking is available in the Intermediate High School lot and the lower Senior High School lot; Campus Lane is part of the course and not available for parking.
