About the race
The Butler YMCA Annual Turkey Trot takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Downtown Butler with the start and finish located outside the Butler YMCA at 339 North Washington Street, Butler, PA 16001.
The event offers two distances:
- 1 Mile
- 5k
Early bird registration with a guaranteed t-shirt runs from June 6 to September 1 for $25. A registration option without a shirt is available during the same period for $15. Day-of registration is offered and accepts cash or check only; t-shirts are only guaranteed to those who pre-registered.
Packet pick-up is available the day of the event in the Butler Y lobby. Remaining packets at the conclusion of the event will be donated. If the event is canceled for any reason, no refunds will be offered, no rain date is scheduled, and no deferrals or transfers are available.
Sponsorship or general inquiries about the Turkey Trot are handled through the YMCA contact process. The event is organized by the Butler County Family YMCA and follows the policies stated by the YMCA for registration and event administration.
