Butler Road Race
The Butler Road Race holds its 51st anniversary edition in downtown Butler, Pennsylvania, with the event centered at Diamond Park on South Main Street. It is recognized as the longest, continuously held road race in Western Pennsylvania.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5 Mile road race, running required.
- 2K (1.24 miles), run or walk allowed.
Entry fees vary by registration period. Early bird pricing runs through May 24 and guarantees a T-shirt; regular pricing applies May 25 through June 20; day-of registration is cash or check only. Prices listed for 2026 include early bird rates of $40 for the 5 Mile and $30 for the 2K. Reduced entry fees apply for youth 17 and under.
Packet pick-up is held at Diamond Park on the morning of the event. Remaining packets at the conclusion of the event will be donated and will not be held for later pickup. Day-of registration is available at Diamond Park and accepts cash or check only.
There will be water stations along the course and roads on the course will be closed and patrolled by local CB Rangers and City Police. One hundred percent of the proceeds remain in Butler County to fund programs for children, families, and seniors.
