Butler Road Race
The Butler Road Race takes place on June 27, 2026, in Butler, Pennsylvania, with a start and finish in the downtown area near 124 W. Diamond St. The event marks the 51st anniversary of a road race described as the longest, continuously held road race in Western Pennsylvania. Roads along the course will be closed and patrolled by local CB Rangers and City Police. Water stations will be available on course, and participants are encouraged to bring their own water. In an emergency, call 9-1-1.
Registration opened on February 5. Early-bird pricing through May 31 guarantees a T-shirt; regular pricing applies from June 1 through race day. Fees listed by the organizer include early and regular rates as well as youth pricing for participants 17 and under. Packet pick-up is scheduled at Diamond Park on Saturday morning beginning at 7:30 a.m.; day-of registration is available in Diamond Park and accepts cash or check only. All packets remaining after the event will be donated. If events are canceled for any reason, no refunds are offered, no rain date is scheduled, and no deferrals or transfers are available. One hundred percent of proceeds remain local to fund programs and services for children, families, and seniors in Butler County.
