Butler Road Race : Butler, PA
The Butler Road Race takes place on June 27, 2026 at 124 W. Diamond St., Butler, PA 16001. The event marks its 51st edition and is presented as the longest, continuously held road race in Western Pennsylvania. Two distances are offered:
- 5 Mile - runners only.
- 2K - run or walk; 1.24 miles.
Registration follows two pricing periods. Early bird pricing runs through May 31 and guarantees a T-shirt: 2K early bird $30, 5 Mile early bird $40. Regular registration begins June 1 and continues through the day of the event: 2K regular $35, 5 Mile regular $45. Youth pricing for participants 17 and under is offered through race day: 2K $15, 5 Mile $20.
Packet pick-up is on Saturday morning at Diamond Park, starting at 7:30 a.m. Day-of registration is available in Diamond Park from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.; cash or check only. Any packets remaining after the event will be donated and will not be held for later pick-up.
Water stations will be available along the course; participants are encouraged to bring additional water. Roads along the course will be closed and patrolled by local CB Rangers and City Police. In case of emergency call 9-1-1. If events are canceled for any reason, no refunds, rain date, deferrals, or transfers will be offered.
