Butcombe Trail Ultra

The Butcombe Trail Ultra is a self-navigation ultramarathon held in the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the UK. Organized by the Town and Country Harriers, the event offers two race distances: 50 miles and 50 kilometers. The mostly off-road course features scenic running terrain and stunning views as it criss-crosses the Mendips, passing six pubs along the route.

Starting and finishing at the Mendip Activity Centre in Churchill, the race emphasizes safety with mandatory kit and tracking devices for runners.
