The Summer Green Man Ultra is an ultra marathon held on 22 August 2026 around the Community Forest Path near Bristol. The event offers two distances: a full loop of approximately 45 miles (GMU45) and a partial loop of approximately 30 miles (GMU30, also called the Green Boy). Both races use the same course, checkpoints and finish location, with different start locations for each distance. From 2026 the event includes competitor tracking. Chip-timing is used at the start and finish and manual timing is used at checkpoints.
