Busselton Women's Tri 2026
The Busselton Women's Tri is a multisport event taking place in Busselton, Western Australia. The event is centered around the Busselton Foreshore near the Equinox Restaurant & Bar and features several distances designed for different age groups and experience levels. Participants can enter as individuals or as part of a team in the sprint category.
The event offers the following race categories:
- Sprint Individual/Team: 300m swim, 12km bike, and 3km run (ages 12+).
- Mini Individual: 150m swim, 6km bike, and 1.5km run (ages 10+).
- Kids (9-12 years): 50m swim, 4km bike, and 1.5km run.
- Kids (7-9 years): 40m swim, 2km bike, and 1.5km run.
- Kids (Under 7): 30m swim, 1km bike, and 500m run.
Registered participants have access to an eight-week training program released in January, which includes run and strength sessions starting from the Busselton Post Office. Specific training clinics covering triathlon introductions, open water swimming, and transition practice are also scheduled in the weeks leading up to the race.
Athletes who are not members of Aus Triathlon are required to obtain a One Day License for insurance coverage. Race packs, including timing chips and bibs, are collected at the pre-event registration on the Saturday prior to the race or on the morning of the event.
