Event Overview

The Busselton Festival of Triathlon 2026 takes place from May 1st to 3rd at Barnard Park in Busselton, Western Australia. The event celebrates its 25th anniversary with a refreshed format featuring several race options for individuals and teams.

Race Schedule and Distances

The events are split over two days. On Saturday, May 2nd:

  • Busselton 5: A kids triathlon for ages 7-15 involving a 100m swim, 4km cycle, and 900m run.
  • Busselton 25: For ages 14+ (individuals) or 13+ (teams), featuring a 500m swim, 20km cycle, and 4.5km run.

On Sunday, May 3rd:

  • Busselton 50: For ages 18+ (individuals) or 16+ (teams), with a 2km swim, 40km cycle, and 8km run.
  • Busselton 100 Triathlon: For ages 18+, with a 2km swim, 80km cycle, and 18km run.
  • Busselton 100 Duathlon: For ages 18+ (individuals only), with an 8km run, 80km cycle, and 12km run.
  • Busselton Aquabike: For ages 18+ (individuals only), with a 2km swim and 80km cycle.

Participant Information

Athletes in the Sunday Busselton 50, 100 Triathlon, and Aquabike events must bring a wetsuit. Bike racking and pack collection for Sunday events takes place on Saturday evening.
