Busselton Festival of Triathlon
The Busselton Festival of Triathlon is a multi-day triathlon festival held in Busselton, Western Australia. The 2026 festival is scheduled for 1-3 May and marks the event's 25th year. The festival is organised by Triathlon WA and typically attracts more than 2,300 participants each year. The weekend includes two days of racing for participants aged 7 and up, an expo, social events, food trucks, a dedicated event app, and spectator activities. Post-race presentations have been held at the Esplanade Hotel Busselton.
Race programme and race details
Races at the festival include the Busselton 100 long course, the Foreshore Sprint, Aquabike events, and a Kids Triathlon at Barnard Park. Team entries are available for some distances; teams can be two or three people with each member completing one or more legs. A preliminary ruling has made wetsuit use mandatory for the Busselton 100 and Aquabike events. Live tracking and immediate race results are provided through BlueChip Timing.
