Busselton Festival of Triathlon 2026
The Busselton Festival of Triathlon celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026 at Barnard Park in Busselton, Western Australia. This multisport event takes place over three days and features a variety of race formats including triathlons, a duathlon, and an aquabike.
The schedule is divided between several event distances:
- Busselton 5: A kids-only triathlon (ages 7-15) featuring a 100m swim, 4km cycle, and 900m run.
- Busselton 25: A sprint-style event with a 500m swim, 20km cycle, and 4.5km run.
- Busselton 50: A standard distance consisting of a 2km swim, 40km cycle, and 8km run.
- Busselton 100 Triathlon: A long-course race comprising a 2km swim, 80km cycle, and 18km run.
- Busselton 100 Duathlon: A run-bike-run format featuring an 8km run, 80km cycle, and 12km run.
- Busselton Aquabike: A combination of a 2km swim and an 80km cycle.
For the Sunday events, which include the Busselton 50, Busselton 100, and Aquabike, participants are required to use a wetsuit. Athletes participating in Sunday races must complete bike racking and pack collection on Saturday evening, as no check-in is permitted on race morning.
