Busselton Festival of Triathlon
The Busselton Festival of Triathlon is a multi-event triathlon festival held in Busselton, Western Australia. The festival runs across a race weekend and features multiple race formats, a public expo, social events, food trucks and a dedicated event app for participants and spectators. The festival reports more than 2,300 participants each year and stages competitions for athletes aged 7 and up.
The event offers individual and team options in several race categories and will mark its 25th anniversary in 2026. The 2026 program includes the Australian Long Distance Triathlon and Long Distance Aquabike Championships alongside the festival races. Course maps, road closure and parking information are provided by the organisers.
Race options and typical distances include:
- Busselton 100: 2 km swim, 80 km cycle, 18 km run (ages 18+)
- Aquabike 100: 2 km swim, 80 km cycle (ages 18+)
- Duathlon 100: 8 km run, 80 km cycle, 12 km run (ages 18+)
- Busselton 50: 2 km swim, 40 km cycle, 8 km run
- Busselton 25: 500 m swim, 20 km cycle, 4.5 km run
- Busselton 5 (Kids): 100 m swim, 4 km cycle, 900 m run (ages 7-15)
