About the race
XTERRA Asia-Pacific Championship is a multi-day off-road sports event held in Dunsborough, Western Australia on April 3 to 4, 2027. The event is organised by XTERRA and staged at Dunsborough Country Club with on-course swimming, mountain bike and trail running venues around Geographe Bay. The programme includes triathlon races, trail running races and youth/kids races. The event forms part of the XTERRA World Tour and the XTERRA Trail Run World Series and offers World Championship qualification.
The published prize purse is US$25,000. Featured race distances and formats include: - Full Distance Triathlon: SWIM 1.5K, BIKE 30.2K, RUN 10.5K - Sprint Distance Triathlon: SWIM 750M, BIKE 15K, RUN 5K - Super Sprint Triathlon: SWIM 200M, BIKE 5.8K, RUN 2.6K - Groms Race: RUN 800M, BIKE 1.2K (ages under 9) - Trail Marathon: RUN 38K - Trail Half Marathon: RUN 21K - 10K Trail Run: RUN 10K Event services and arrangements described by the organiser include an expo village, athlete check-in, course practice sessions, community rides and runs, awards ceremonies, and an awards dinner included for Full Distance athletes. Triathlon competitors must hold an AusTriathlon licence or purchase a One Day License; the published ODL prices are AUD$22.50 for Full Distance, AUD$12.50 for Sprint, and AUD$4.50 for Super Sprint.
