Hot Fudge Run
The Hot Fudge Run is a community 5 kilometer event on February 20, 2027, held at Bentley Middle School in Burton, MI. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and takes place inside and around the school facilities.
Event options:

- 5K Walk
- 5K Virtual
Every finisher receives a custom Hot Fudge Run medal. Awards include first overall male and female, first male and female age 40 and over, and top three male and female in standard age-group divisions from 10 and under through 80 plus. Unclaimed awards will be available at Complete Runner in Grand Blanc until March 31, 2027.
Timing is provided by Newton Timing & Race Services with disposable bib tags, ChronoTrack Live results, and a chip start for net time precision. The 5K course begins and ends at Bentley Middle School, crosses the I-69 pedestrian crosswalk twice, and will be open to vehicle traffic. As this is a winter event, participants should be prepared for possible snow and icy conditions; the expressway pedestrian crosswalk may not be cleared in snowy conditions.
Packet pickup is available early on February 19 at Complete Runner in Grand Blanc from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with additional race day packet pickup at the school. Long sleeve T-shirts are prepaid only through February 8, 2027, in a range of unisex sizes. Food at the finish includes hot fudge, ice cream, fresh fruit, pretzels, and marshmallows. Dogs are welcome when leashed short, started from the back of the pack, and kept out of buildings. Facilities include indoor restrooms, cafeteria seating, and on-site parking.
