Event Overview
The Bursting Bubble 5K Walk & Run takes place on May 3, 2026, at Langus Riverfront Park in Everett, Washington. Registration is open for an in-person event with a single distance option, a 5K.
Course and Participation
The course is fully paved and follows an out-and-back route. Strollers are permitted on the course. Leashed dogs are also allowed, with owners responsible for cleanup. The event includes a timed bib with a chip for participants.
Registration and Amenities
The general registration price is $40. A race day shirt is included for registrations completed by April 1, 2026; after that date, shirts are not guaranteed. Participants also receive a swag bag and, with their race ticket, a complimentary yoga class at Yoga Shala in Everett, valid through the end of June. Kids aged 8-17 can register for $35, while children under 8 are free but must be registered. Day-of registration will be available from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM.
Event Features and Beneficiary
The event is organized by Chasing the Rainbows and is described as a celebration of life and healing gathering. It features live entertainment, vendors, face painting, raffles, and a "Wall to Remember" tribute. Proceeds support Chasing the Rainbows' free services for families grieving infertility, pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or infant loss. Awards are given to the top three male, top three female, and top three children (ages 8-17) finishers.
