Burrito Biathlon - Ixonia, WI
The Burrito Biathlon takes place on September 6, 2026 at Fireman's Park in Ixonia, Wisconsin. The event returns after an eleven year hiatus and is one stop in the Wisconsin Yum Run Series, a collection of food-themed races across the state.
Event options include:
- 5K Run
- 5K Ruck
- 2 Mile Walk
- Little Taco Run (Kiddo’s 1K, ages 1 to 10, free)
The race is produced, timed, and managed by Silver Circle Sports Events. Timing is chip based and the chip is attached to the race bib. Packet pickup requires the race confirmation email so staff can scan the QR code from that receipt. Participants who register by noon on August 22 are guaranteed a custom cotton unisex t-shirt; additional shirts are available while online supplies last and extras are distributed after the race on a first-come, first-served basis.
Every participant will receive a custom finisher woodle. Overall male and female winners in each distance will receive custom awards, and the top three male and female finishers in each five-year age group will receive medals; age groups start at 0-14 and proceed in five-year increments. Parking is available onsite and parking within the cemetery grounds is not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
