Event overview

The Burnsall Trail Half is an organised trail race on Saturday 18 April 2026. It is part of the Due North Trail Race Series and is organised by Due North Events. The venue is the Riverside Car Park Field in Burnsall, BD23 6BU. Entries opened on 29 July 2025 and close on 14 April 2026. Entry fees listed are £35 for UKA members and £37 for non-members. The minimum entry age is 17. At the time of the listing there were 19 participants entered.

Course, facilities and requirements

The route uses several sections of the Dales Way footpath and includes riverside paths, stone tracks and open fields. Total ascent is around 500 m and climbs offer 360 degree views of the Yorkshire Dales. The course is partially way marked. Drinks stations provide water and juice; participants should bring a cup or bottle because cups are not provided. A post-race meal (for example pie or soup), a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise and sponsor goodies are included. Free car parking is available at the venue. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket with hood, hat and gloves, and a mobile phone with a location app. Prize categories include 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female and age-group prizes for V40, V50, V60 and V70+.
