Burnsall Trail Half

The Burnsall Trail Half is a trail running event on Saturday, April 18, 2026. It is the first race in the Due North Trail Race Series. The event is held at a riverside location in Burnsall.

The course includes several sections of the Dales Way footpath and has approximately 500 meters of ascent. The climbs offer 360-degree views of the Yorkshire Dales. The terrain is described as a mix of riverside paths, stone tracks, and open fields.

Registration opens on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, and closes on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The entry fee is £35.00 for UK Athletics members and £37.00 for non-members. Participants must be 17 years or older on the event date. A discount is available for entering all three races in the series.

The race starts and finishes at the Riverside Car Park field (BD23 6BU). Registration opens at 08:00 in a tent in the car park, and runners must register by 09:45.

Included for participants:

  • A post-race meal (e.g., pie or similar).
  • A bottle of beer.
  • Due North merchandise and sponsor goodies.
  • Access to drink stations with water.
