Burnsall 12k Trail Race

The event takes place on Saturday 18 April 2026 in Burnsall and is organised by Due North Events. The route is 12 km and follows the first 12 km of the half marathon, with a diversion from Appletreewick to return runners to the finish in Burnsall. The race is part of the Due North Trail series.

Entries open 29 July 2025 and close 14 April 2026. Entry fees are UKA member £25.00 and non member £27.00. A discount of up to £7.50 per entry is available when entering multiple events in the series. To enter, competitors must register or log in with SiEntries.

Logistics and facilities

The start and finish are at the Riverside Car Park Field, Burnsall, BD23 6BU, beside the bridge near the Red Lion Pub. Due North marshals will organise parking and direct runners to the registration tent. Free car parking is provided. A toilet block with male and female toilets is located at the top of the car park.

The event includes a partially way marked course, drinks stations with water and juice, a post-race meal (pie, soup or similar), a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise, and sponsor goodies. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, and a cup or bottle for water (no cups provided at the drinks stations); runners are asked to carry a mobile phone with a location app. Prize giving covers 1st to 3rd male and female, Open and Non Binary, and first in V40, V50, V60 and V70+ categories.
