Burnaby Lake Run
Burnaby Lake Run is an annual running carnival held at Burnaby Lake Regional Park in British Columbia. Races take place on the Burnaby Lake Trail, which is mostly packed gravel paths.
Key details:
- 10K loop around the lake, total distance about 10.36 km.
- 5K out-and-back on the same trail.
- 2.5K kids race out-and-back.
- Family fun run followed by a festival with food, games, and performances.
Package pick-up is scheduled for August 21 and 22. On race day, pick-up on site provides only the bib and timing chip for timed races; the family fun run on-site pick-up provides only a bib. Registration is not refundable and not transferable. Teams with a minimum of ten participants can apply for a team discount.
The event partners with Burnaby Hospital Foundation and donates part of registration fees to support community health infrastructure. Volunteer roles are organized to support event operations and a family festival follows the runs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
