Bumrun Vancouver 2026
Bumrun Vancouver is a charity event held at Jericho Beach Park focused on raising awareness for colon cancer screening and prevention. The organization has been active for 15 years, raising funds to support medical research, patient support programs, and public health education regarding colorectal cancer.
The event offers several participation options:
- 5 km Walk/Run
- 500 m Little Bums (for children ages 12 and under)
- 5 km Virtual race (available across Canada)
Participants in the live 5 km event receive a finisher medal, event-themed items, and a personalized fundraising page. The Little Bums run is a 500 m course designed for children, starting shortly before the main event. Children receive a finisher medal for their participation.
For those unable to attend in person, a virtual 5 km option is available. Virtual participants receive a digital completion certificate. The event also facilitates team registration, allowing groups of friends or family to fundraise together. Race kits for the live event can be picked up on-site at the park on the day of the race.
