The Bulldog Breakaway New Year's 5K takes place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Charleston, South Carolina (171 Moultrie Street, 29409). Online registration is offered with a listed entry fee of $30; the price increases after December 21, 2025. Course and logistics
The course is USATF certified and begins and finishes on The Citadel track. The route includes a lap around campus, passing through Summerall Gate, one lap around Hampton Park, a return through Summerall Gate, and a final lap on campus to the track finish. Parking is available near the track on The Citadel campus. Water stops are provided along the course and near the finish, and restrooms are available near the track.
