Buffalo Wallow Races
The Buffalo Wallow Races is the 45th annual event held at Buffalo Springs Lake Cantina and Campgrounds in 2026. The event on November 14, 2026 includes multiple footrace distances and runs from a long-standing local series.
Distances offered:
- 2 Mile run or walk
- Quarter Marathon
- Half Marathon
Entry fees and registration details are specified by event and membership status. There is a $5 gate fee at Buffalo Lakes. Member and non member fees vary by distance. Race day registration is limited and there are no refunds. Signups begin October 10.
Packet and bib pickup is offered the day before at FootTech on 19th Street and on race day at the Buffalo Springs Lake cantina area. A new course map for the Half and Quarter Marathon is listed as pending. A race t shirt is provided for Half Marathon participants only.
Age and course rules are stated: participants must be at least 7 years old for the 2 Mile event and at least 16 for the Quarter and Half Marathon runs. Strollers are permitted only in the 2 Mile event for participants aged 18 and over. No pets are allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
