Buffalo Stroll - Autism Awareness 5k and Family Fun Event
The Buffalo Stroll - Autism Awareness 5k and Family Fun Event takes place on April 11, 2026, at The Villages, FL (251 Buffalo Trail). The event supports The Villages Charter School Autism Center, a charter school that provides individualized education for learners on the autism spectrum and is accepting applications for Pre-K through 8th grade for the upcoming school year.

The 5k is held on the Buffalo Ridge TVCS Middle School track and consists of twelve laps around the track. The Fun Fest features balloon artists, bounce houses, face painting, and a vendor market with local businesses that provide services for individuals with autism.
Registration details for the 5k note a pre-registration fee of $25 until April 1 and an increased fee of $40 afterward and on the day of the event. The registration fee includes a t-shirt and a registration packet; t-shirts are available while supplies last.
Pre-registered packet pick up is scheduled for the Friday before the event at The Villages Charter School Autism Center, 420 Village Campus Circle. Packets are also available at the race site on the morning of the event, and a friend or family member may pick up a packet on behalf of a registrant.
