Buffalo Chips 4th of July Run & Walk
The Buffalo Chips 4th of July Run & Walk is scheduled for July 4, 2026. Organizers are introducing a new course for 2026, with the start and finish located in front of Rio Americano High School at 4540 American River Drive, Sacramento, CA 95864.
The main event is a 4 mile run and walk. In addition, there are non-competitive children’s fun runs before the general start with distances for older children and very young children.
The event is untimed, though a race clock will be placed at the finish line. Participation is free for all entrants. Organizers request that participants register by completing a liability waiver online before the event.
Attendees are encouraged to make a minimum donation of $5 to the Lyme Fight Foundation; the foundation will have a booth and a dropbox at the event to receive contributions.
