The event at Nashotah Park offers multiple trail race options and related activities on November 14, 2026. Distances include 5K, 10K, and a half marathon plus walk, early half marathon starts, ruck events, and a free 1K Bambi Run for children. All finishers receive a wooden finisher award called a woodle; top three male and female finishers in five year age groups receive custom woodles.
The trails are primarily wood chipped with a maintained grass portion and more than 60 percent of the course shaded by trees. Distances are approximate; the course for this edition runs counterclockwise compared with past events. The route is marked with 12 by 12 inch turn arrows, three foot course signs, and cones; traditional ultra trail tape is not used. Course maps are provided.
A single aid station supplies water, sports drinks, and gels. The aid station is passed multiple times depending on distance. The event is chip timed by a professional timer; bibs should be worn on the front and a lap counter mat records laps. The race operates under a cupless policy so participants must bring reusable cups or hydration systems. Parking requires a county park day pass or annual pass purchased online.
