Buckhead Days The Hill 5K
The Buckhead Days The Hill 5K takes place on April 4, 2026 in Buckhead, Morgan County, Georgia. The event is part of the Old Buckhead Days celebration and was formerly known as "The Real Buckhead Road Race." The listed race location is 1001 Baldwin Dairy Road, in front of Benny Paul's Soul Food; the course begins and ends on Davis Lane between Seven Islands Road and Baldwin Dairy Road.
The course is an out and back along a country road with rolling terrain and one large hill. Finish line management and race day timing are provided by Classic Race Services. The Buckhead Road Race is part of the Black Bag Race Series.
Awards are given to first place male and female overall and masters, and to the top three finishers in each age group. Overall male and female and masters male and female winners receive a $50 cash prize. Cash prizes are not awarded to runners under 21 years of age. Age groups are listed for male and female competitors starting at 10 and under and continuing through 80 and over.
Registration has a published entry fee of $25 with a scheduled price increase to $30 after March 16, 2026. The event may be delayed in 15 minute increments due to weather and the organizer states there are no refunds for weather-related cancellations.
