Brutal @ Longmoor

Brutal @ Longmoor is a tough end-of-year trail race held at the Longmoor training area. Runners choose between a single 5-mile (8 km) lap or two laps making 10 miles (16 km). The course features Brutal staples such as The Dunes, the Tank Wallow water feature, and the Swimming Pool pond near the start and finish, with repeated hills, marshes and water to cool competitors.

The event aims for a true Brutal atmosphere with close-to-arena viewing for spectators and a medal for all finishers; the second lap adds extra mud. Minimum ages apply (10 with adult, 13 solo). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
