Scheduled for Saturday 8th August at Bordon, this event is a double loop trail race offered over two distances. The course includes woodland trails, sandy open areas and technical single track, and it features numerous wet sections, short sharp hills and extensive bog.
The event is described as the muddiest summer race. The arena is sited so spectators can observe runners several times within about 100 m, which the organisers note makes it suitable for family viewing. Car sharing is available.
Distances and format:
- 5 km: single lap of the course.
- 10 km: two laps of the course; a 75 minute cut off applies to complete the first lap.
Age and entry notes: juniors are defined as under 16 on race day. Minimum ages are 10 for the 5 km and 13 for the 10 km. Entry fees vary by date and category, with different early bird and later prices for senior and junior entrants.
