Brutal @ Bordon
Brutal at Bordon is a trail race held on Saturday 8th August on mixed terrain around Bordon. The course is a double loop that includes woodland trails, sandy open areas and technical single track. The route contains numerous wet features, short sharp hills and extensive boggy sections, making mud a prominent characteristic of the course. The race arena provides spectator access close to the course so spectators can see runners multiple times within about 100 m.
Course options and entry status:
- 5 km : single lap of the course (Entered: 79 of 125)
- 10 km : two laps of the course (Entered: 120 of 175)
A 75 minute cut off applies to complete the first lap for those choosing the two lap 10 km option. Minimum ages are 10 for the 5 km and 13 for the 10 km. Juniors are defined as under 16 on race day. Overall entry shows 199 of 300 places taken. Car sharing is available.
Entry fees vary by date. Early bird fees from 26 February and higher fees apply from 15 June; listed amounts differ for senior and junior entries and for each distance. Entrants may withdraw online up until 1400 on the Thursday prior to the event; withdrawn entry amounts are credited for use at another Brutal event rather than refunded.
