The Brunswick Fire Foundation 911 Memorial Stair Climb on 9/12/2026 is a commemorative stair climb held at Glynn Stadium in Brunswick, Georgia. The event remembers the attacks of September 11, 2001 and honors the 343 fire fighters who died that day. Participants climb the equivalent of 120 flights of stairs, the distance organizers identify as the number of flights it would have taken to reach the top of the World Trade Center.
The event offers multiple participation formats. Options include an Individual Climb, a Fire Fighter Individual Climb in full gear, and General Admission for spectators. Participants may climb alone, as part of a five person team, or be accompanied by a local fire fighter for part of the climb.
