Sweet Air Trail Race
The Sweet Air Trail Race is scheduled for July 12, 2026 at Gunpowder State Park, Sweet Air, Maryland. The event is listed as a 7 mile race; the course is also described as approximately 8 miles and will cross from the Harford County side to the Baltimore County side and back.
The course includes rolling hills, faster sections, water crossings and occasional mud. The terrain offers a variety of trail conditions across the park.
Park management has limited capacity to 100 runners; past editions had over 200 participants before the limit was imposed. There is no fee to register and donations are welcome and accepted on race day when bibs are picked up. Registration availability is noted as when available.
