GPS Big Gunpowder Trail Race
The GPS Big Gunpowder Trail Race is scheduled for October 18, 2026 at Gunpowder State Park, Belair Road in Kingsville, MD. The course distance is 5.25 Miles and the event is part of the Baltimore Road Runners Club trail series.
The route begins with a steep climb, includes several downhill sections, and finishes on faster terrain. The course features single-track trail segments and mixed terrain typical of park trails.
The event is supported by donations only. There is no required registration fee; donations are accepted at bib pickup. Online registration details will be posted when available and race day registration will be offered on site.
Directions note the park is reached from 695 via exit 32B to Belair Road North. Parking is on the east side of Belair Road. If that area is full, use the Park and Ride across Belair Road adjacent to the Gunpowder Lodge and follow the underpass foot path to the venue. Do not park in the Gunpowder Lodge lot as vehicles may be towed.
